Community Group Outreach Application
Are you looking for a speaker? Castro Valley Sanitary District staff is available to speak to Castro Valley clubs and organizations. Topics may include but are not limited to:
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rot – How to practice the 4Rs in Castro Valley.
- Buying Recycled – How to close the recycling loop.
- Commercial Recycling – How to reduce waste and your bottom line.
- Food Scrap Recycling.
- Bay-Friendly Gardening & Landscaping.
- Earth Day and Bay-Friendly Gardening.
- E-Waste (Electronic Waste).
- Jobs/Careers in Recycling and Waste Reduction.
Please note: An application does not constitute that the District will provide a speaker. First come, first served, based on request. The District anticipates many speaking engagements per year. Speaking engagements are intended for Castro Valley residents/businesses/groups. Preference may be given to groups with a higher percentage of CVSan attendees. The District may request your participation in a follow-up survey.
