Residents Rewarded for Recycling Food Scraps

Castro Valley Sanitary District residents have been recycling food scraps and food-soiled paper into high quality compost since 2002. As a a way to say "thank you," CVSD will continue the tradition of distributing bagged compost at the 2008 Compost Give Away.

Be sure to grab your Compost Voucher located in your Waste Management bill for more information, and to receive your free bag of compost (1 bag per household); CVSD residents only).
