DONATIONS PROVIDED TO THE COMMUNITY


During the months of April-June 2011, Castro Valley Sanitary District donated to:

  • Castro Valley Rotary

 

  • Eden Medical Center

 

  • Palomares Elementary School

 

  • Vannoy Elementary School


These organizations have received approximately $3,400.00 in grant funding and supplies to promote and sustain programs that support waste reduction and the 4Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot).

MISSION STATEMENT

We are committed to safe, efficient and effective wastewater and solid waste management. We promote waste diversion and recycling, education and practices. We strive for public satisfaction through quality service, reasonable rates and proper stewardship of our resources and the environment.

VISION STATEMENT

Leading to preserve the environment and promote waste reduction.

STRATEGIC GOAL

The Castro Valley Sanitary District will continue to lead the community through the use of innovative programs to increase solid waste diversion to 75% by the year 2010 and reduce sewer overflows to less than 8 per year. The District will implement customer call satisfaction measurements to improve customer satisfaction. We will institute procedures which will continue to grow investments for the stability of the District to maintain a pay-as-you-go capital improvement policy.
