Veterans Day Holiday

Castro Valley Sanitary District offices will be closed Friday, November 11, 2011 in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday.  Please call (510) 537-0757 with questions or for sewer emergencies.  For information regarding District services and programs, visit www.cvsan.org.

Waste Management of Alameda County (WMAC) will not be observing November 11^th as a Holiday.  Therefore, recycling, organics, and garbage collection services will take place on their normal collection day and WMAC offices will be open on November 11^th.  Please call (510) 537-5500 (residential) or (510) 613-8700 (commercial/business) with solid waste services questions.

Thanksgiving Day Holiday

Castro Valley Sanitary District offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 24-25, 2011 in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.  Please call (510) 537-0757 with questions or for sewer emergencies.  For information regarding District services and programs, visit www.cvsan.org.

Waste Management of Alameda County (WMAC) offices will be closed Thursday November 24^th as a Holiday.  WMAC 98^th Avenue Cashier and Hayward Pay Station will be closed November 24-25^th.  WMAC Call Center in Oak Harbor will be open on Friday, November 25^th.  Therefore, recycling, organics, and garbage collection services will be one (1) day later than usual November 24-26, 2011.  Thursday’s collection will be on Friday, and Friday’s collection on Saturday.
