Join us on Saturday, April 29th for a day of fun & learning!
Project EARTH 2006 is a unique collaboration among:

  • Castro Valley Sanitary District
  • Palomares Elementary School
    (Castro Valley Unified School District)
  • Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley’s District 4
  • Castro Valley High School Cross-Country Runners Club

This is a shared vision and continuation of our communities’ commitment to environmental conservation, restoration, management and awareness. It is also an opportunity to show our youth and the community how to take care of our earth, so it will continue to take care of us.

One of the key goals of Palomares Elementary School’s science program is to enable students to apply what they learn to address real world issues. Come visit a 20-acre natural preserve used as an outdoor learning environment and as a demonstration site for watershed restoration, education and stewardship.
