Portable Recycling Containers Available from Sanitary District

Are you a community organization seeking to raise money and help protect the environment? In an effort to further promote recycling, Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSD) has utilized Department of Conservation grant funds to purchase portable recycling containers for donation to community groups. The District is accepting applications from organizations within the District, such as church groups and sports leagues, interested in receiving a donation of portable recycling containers.

To date, CVSD has donated Clearstream Recyclers to the Castro Valley Youth Soccer League (CVYSL) as well as New Life Christian Church. By taking collected cans and bottles to local buy-back centers, these organizations have both raised money and protected the environment.

Don’t miss your opportunity to take advantage of this unique offer. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Some restrictions apply.
