Recycle Your Textiles Curbside

Textile Collection

Have you been tidying up your house and finding clothes that you no longer wear?  Take advantage of CVSan’s upcoming Textile Collection Week from June 1st – 5th to recycle your clothing and other textiles curbside!

Single-family residents: during Textile Collection Week, please place bagged textiles curbside on your regular recycling collection day. Multi-family residents: please check with your property manager for your textile collection day and collection area.

Set out bagged textiles by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day. Textiles will be collected with a special vehicle that may service your block earlier or later than regular vehicles. Do not place bags behind or on top of carts.

Textiles include items such as clothing, towels, linens, bathmats, curtains, shoes, stuffed animals in clean and good condition, area rugs and carpet (no larger than 9’x12’), etc. Unacceptable items include textiles that are wet, moldy, or have human biowaste, blood, toxic chemicals, or motor oil on them. No light-up shoes or clothes. Customers will not receive a tax-deductible receipt.
