The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Northern California Gold Rush Chapter recently ratified election results and confirmed CVSan’s Zero Waste Supervisor Naomi Lue as a Board of Director. She will be seated as a Public Sector officer in July, will serve for one year on the Board, and co-chair the Communications Committee. Ms. Lue has been a SWANA member for about 15 years and has repeatedly recertified as a SWANA Certified Municipal Solid Waste Management Systems Manager since 2007.
Ms. Lue stated, “I am honored to represent this region of the State and am committed to sharing my nearly 20 years of experience as a public sector administrator and municipal zero waste practitioner.”
SWANA’s prominent and nationally acclaimed technical conferences and training programs cover all aspects of integrated municipal solid waste management. The Association is a major policy and technical representative of solid waste management practitioners, executives, companies, and government organizations.
The Northern California Chapter geographically includes about 40 Counties, from the Stateline Counties of Del Norte and Siskiyou, south through the Counties of Monterey and San Benito.
