Recycles Day

Recycles Day is Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan)'s most popular event and is held every spring and summer. At Recycles Day, residents are invited to drop off items that are not typically accepted in their regular curbside recycling, organics, and garbage services. These items are then properly reused, recycled, or disposed of. CVSan residents and businesses can also pick up bagged compost at no additional charge.

The next Recycles Day will be on
April 27, 2024
at Canyon Middle School
19600 Cull Canyon Rd.

APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED.

DROP-INS MAY NOT PARTICIPATE.

All eligible registrants with a valid QR Code are required to present their QR Code at the event check-in station.

The event will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for CVSan residents and businesses only.
