On Saturday, February 8, 2020, Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) hosted a Fixit Clinic with Bike Repair and Clothing Swap during Zero Waste Week!
Over 90 participants attended the Fixit Clinic held at the Castro Valley Library! Fifteen items were fixed, prolonging the usable lifespan of an estimated 105 lbs. of consumer products. As well, twenty bicycles were repaired by volunteer helpers from Bay Area Bike Mobile and Bad Business Model Bikes. Thank you to everyone that participated, especially our volunteer coaches that so graciously donated their time and knowledge in the spirit of fixing! Did you miss the Castro Valley Fixit Clinic?
